Sell Time Share, Get Cash
If you are stuck with a piece of property that you can only use once a year for one or two weeks, and those weeks aren’t even convenient because they are during the off-season, or you are sick of going to the same place for vacation year after year, you are going to want to sell time share deeds that you hold. Why? Because when you are free from this financial burden, you will be able to get some cash to take a nice vacation (somewhere you haven’t already been).
If you want to sell time share deeds or weeks, then you need to get your act together to get the best price possible for it. Here are three tricks to help you get as much money possible.
- If you have a fixed week and place for your timeshare every year, see if you can sell time share deeds to the person who has the week before or after your week. That will extend their time, and get the time share off of your hands quickly.
- Time is money, so if you can do some research on what your time share is worth, you will be better off. Do some research on what the going prices are, keeping in mind what people are paying for the time period you have, and the location that you are in. You can do research on time share websites and even on EBay, as many people auction them off there.
- Trade your time share. If you know someone with a time share, don’t sell time share deeds, but trade them for something that might suit your needs better. This will satisfy your desire to get a different vacation spot, but it won’t get you any cash.
If you know what your time share is worth, have a bit of patience, and have all of your paperwork in order, it shouldn’t be that difficult to sell time share properties and get some cash for your investment.
