Time Share for Sale by Owner: Getting a Great Deal
When you see an advertisement in a newspaper, on the Internet or from a friend offering a fabulous time share for sale by owner, you need to be weary. Why? Because if it were really such a fabulous deal, why is someone else wanting to get rid of it and why is it so cheap?
If you are thinking about buying a time share for sale by owner, you need to be really careful. Think about some of these questions to see if it is a right deal, and remember to sleep a night on the decision. If you still think that it is a great deal a little later, you can buy it.
- Do you really need a time share to have a great vacation? The answer of course is no, because there aren’t really any places that you would want to travel to that don’t have a hotel that you could check into.
- Are you going to use the extras that they give you with a time share? One of the great things that people like about time shares is that they have a kitchen. Having a kitchen means that you would be able to cook during your vacation. Do you want to spend your vacation cooking or out trying new restaurants? The choice is up to you, but don’t fool yourself into thinking you are going to need these bonuses.
- Can you afford the maintenance fee? Every time share has a yearly maintenance fee to keep the properties looking nice. When you rent a hotel room, the maintenance fee is already included in the price of the room. When you buy a time share for sale by owner, you will be taking over their maintenance fee. Check to see how much it is, and whether or not you can afford it every year.
The best advice anyone can give you when you are considering on picking up a time share for sale by owner is to be really careful and to think about it enough so that you are 100% sure.
